Dear Friend of Peace:

The Peace Farm is an organization committed to being a visible presence challenging the morality and usefulness of assembling nuclear warheads, the principal function carried on at Pantex, located across U. S. Highway 60 from the Peace Farm. The Peace Farm owns 20 acres of grassland on which there are two old houses, a water well and electricity. We are searching for a new director, a dedicated person or persons who might take up the challenge of planning programs to keep the nuclear war issue before the public and to work toward the abolition of these weapons from the world. Salary and living accommodations are negotiable.

The challenge might also entail renovation/maintenance of the houses and building a financial system that could sustain the director(s). As of now, we do not have enough supporters or income to do the above. We have a committed Board of six members and other supporters who want to see our work continued. We are a unique part of the national organization ANA (Alliance for Nuclear Accountability) because all U.S. nuclear weapons are assembled here.

Please respond if you know of anyone who might be interested. We are closer to the abolition of nuclear weapons than ever before. A little more effort from grassroots groups like ours might make the difference in this important part of our quest for world peace. Address applications to Jerry Stein, president of the Board, 5113 SW 16th, Amarillo, TX 79106

Sincerely,
Jerry Stein
